From The Pages of History...

Author Helen Hunt Jackson lived in Colorado Springs between 1874 and 1885. She wrote the book A Century of Dishonor and the novel Ramona, both of which were influential in reforming the United States' treatment of native Americans.

Here the author is portrayed by actress Doris McCraw at Seven Falls in 2007. She will be returning to the attraction in the summer of 2008.

A Beautful Bride on a Beautiful Walk...

We wish it were true, and in a sense it is. This is the rehearsal party for a real bride who wanted the glamour, personal tension, and family conflicts of a traditional wedding - but not for her or any of her relatives (who are all wonderful people) - so she hired us to play those parts instead.

The Show: Murder Says "I Do"

The Location: Secret Garden, Colorado Springs

The Secret Garden lives up to its name. It's a terrific spot for a wedding or a reception - but though I live within 3 miles of it, I didn't know it was there until we did this show.

A Woman's Gotta Do What A Woman's Got To Do...

Actress Catherine McGuire portrays rancher Kit Chance.

The Show: Murder In Buffalo Chip

Location: The Royal Gorge Route

For those who think men have no sense of style, we'd like to point out that we all admire Catherine's ensemble, here chicly accessorized with snakeskin hatband, hand-tooled leather cuffs, and a gorgeous pair of matching Vaqueros.

It Was A Dark and Stormy Night...

... there in the depths of November, so both of the partners (one shown here) made fun of the red shoes as being inappropriate on such a cold and chilly outing. We suggested to the young lady as she boarded the train that some other footwear might have been more practical.

... And yet, as the evening wore on, we began to admire those shoes and the lovely way her feet fit into them. As I said, men do have a sense of style, it just takes us a while to get there sometimes.
