The Show: Murder In Buffalo Chip
The Location: Somewhere North of Boulder, CO
The Audience: Rocky Mountain PBS
Bob (blue shirt) and Carol (green dress) bought the murder mystery show we'd donated to the Rocky Mountain PBS Auction. They invited their friends to dress in Western costume, hired a caterer, and warned the neighbors about gunshots. We did the show right here in their living room. It's a unique party theme - and one that's for a good cause too.

Rancher Kit Chance shares some victuals with Bob.

Bear Claw shares grub with a guest...
... but ultimately, he has to find that mail-order bride he sent off for. Now where can she be?
The Show: Murder Speaks Easy
The Location: Royal Gorge Railroad
The Audience: Members of the Public
The Crime: Scaring the neighbors.
I have nice neighbors- very decent, upstanding folks - but new to the neighborhood. These actresses showed up at my door to carpool to the train show - in costume. The next day my new neighbor asked one of my longer-term neighbors, "Um, so... what's the deal with all the loose women over there across the street." Fortunately, those other neighbors knew about Red Herring.

The Observation Car is a place where we often meet and greet guests from the non-mystery cars...

... plus, it's a great place to enjoy the scenery.

These members of the audience decided to come in costume, which we think really enhances the evening.
The Cast. Most of these folks are just actors, but one has modeling experience. Guess which.
The Dining Car has great ambience. It can sometimes get a little cramped for doing scenes, but we manage.
I can do a lot with editing a photo, but this is all I got out of the camera on this one. I don't know who took it, but I think I'm going have to talk to that person about how to properly frame a shot.
The Show: Murder On Location
The Location: A Private Residence
The Audience: Payo
The Crime: Hamming It Up For Other Actors

We originally donated this show to the Imagination Celebration, but then it was purchased by the Performing Arts for Youth Organization. Here Don greets the event organizers.

Long-time actress Ruth Tomain has another disagreement with ingenue Belva Deere right in front of the host's fireplace. I don't know what we can do to stop those two fighting all the time...
