Meet Our Management!
Ken Oyer, Chief Operating Officer
Ken has been a Red Herring member since 2008, the same year he retired from the Army. Prior to having an active role with Red Herring Productions, Ken lent his hand for a short time as an actor for a local haunted house and has emceed multiple stages at the What If… Festival produced by Imagination Celebration. In September 2014, Ken was asked to step out of his comfort zone as a jokester in order to portray Colonel John Chivington of Sand Creek Massacre infamy to pleased audiences. He possesses a unique ability to convey the horror of that event with a rare sense of historical understanding.
Mike Stevens, Chief Financial Officer
Mike Stevens became one of the founding members of Red Herring after his wife organized the first show at her bookstore in 1985. An exceptional writer, he is one of the primary reasons that Red Herring scripts have enjoyed such enduring and evolving comedy. In addition to writing hilarious mystery dialog, Mike also writes and performs lively and clever Cowboy Poetry. An expert in history, he also guides Colorado landmark and history tours with a Western theme.

Meet Our Performers!
Kaitlyn Bertrand
Kaitlyn was singing before she could talk, dancing before she could walk, and acting since she can remember. Nothing makes Kaitlyn happier than performing for all to see. Kaitlyn has lived in Colorado for nearly her whole life and considers herself a native. Kaitlyn is currently perusing a BFA in music theatre and a minor in secondary education. Her biggest dreams are to perform as a Disney lookalike at a Disney park, to perform in musicals, and and to own more pets than necessary (especially cats).
Heather Gannaway
A classically trained dancer, Heather didn’t consider herself an actor until a local theater director cast her in a supporting role of “Thoroughly Modern Millie.” She has danced on stages around the country, has sung with the Celebration Multicultural Ensemble, and has appeared in a television commercial. Her favorite moments are when she makes people laugh. When she isn’t performing, Heather spends her time working in the analytical role of Project Controls Specialist, managing contracts and budgets, and, according to her colleagues, being an all-around Excel Wizard.
Doris McCraw
Doris has had extensive experience in Colorado Springs theater. In addition to acting and casting for Red Herring, she works as an historic storyteller, specializing in early Colorado and Colorado Springs stories and characters, and has coached students in acting and presentation.
MJ Coon
MJ is in the financial services industry but loves to entertain people and make them smile. She has filled that passion in Colorado Springs by working with Red Herring Productions over the past several years. MJ moved to Colorado Springs in 1998 from Orlando, Florida. While in Orlando, she pursued the hobby of acting and was cast in small roles in films, print, and in commercials.
